Chief Operating Officer

When I was a student one of the greatest joys for me was being involved with the Christian Union as we sought to faithfully introduce our friends to Jesus. Student days are often the crossroads into adulthood and I know from my own experience these days are critical in forming who you will become beyond the framework in which you were brought up.

In my student days I was privileged to experience student ministry– here in New Zealand, in the UK and as I learned about the ministry of IFES movements in many countries across the globe. I have had the opportunity to serve in three different national IFES movements, as well as four years as part of the team with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Oxford, UK.

Coming to TSCF I was tasked with helping bring improved systems and structures to a growing movement – the previous decade had seen the staff team double and finances quadruple. With the recent Covid years and changing local and global economy, I’m still chipping away at this task!

Outside the office I love to find ways to be creative – serving on the church worship team, singing in a local community choir and writing the occasional spoken word piece. I also try to be a runner, finally extending to half marathons, but I’m happiest navigating a 5k Parkrun on a Saturday morning.
